I’m Ela (she/her), founder of Rain or Shine and the queen of asking ‘why’
As a neurodivergent entrepreneur myself, I know what it’s like to be constantly trying your best, only to feel like all ‘traditional’ business advice is telling you you’re the problem at the end of the day.
I believe that as the expert in yourself and in your field, you’re the solution. I’m here to help you focus on the things that have already worked for you and use your knowledge of yourself to build systems that can adapt to the ways you work (and the ways you’ve always been told you don’t).
I stick stickers on everything, and I secretly think that if everyone took the time to gather around a (digital or physical!) whiteboard we’d all be expert problem solvers.
When I’m not solving problems for fun, you can find me sunbathing with my two cats, playing with Notion, or searching for the best vegan tacos al pastor in CDMX.

Accessibility
We do our best to make all our processes, sessions, and experiences as accessible as possible for people of any ability. We also follow accessibility guidelines for all of our web and print designs and are always looking for ways to make things easier for everyone to access.
Fun
The biggest thing that traditional business advice seems to have forgotten: We started doing this shit* because it was fun! And here at Rain or Shine, we believe that if we’re not having fun, we’re doing something wrong.
*yeah, that does mean that sometimes we swear. Sorry kids.
Creativity
Rain or Shine was founded on the belief that creative people can design, and often need, creative solutions. A lot of the issues our clients have can’t be solved with mainstream business advice, so our goal is always to work with you to find the unique solutions you can’t find alone.
So why do we think every business owner needs adaptive systems?
An Adaptive System is a repeatable and intentional series of actions that can easily change to meet your (and your team’s) needs as they fluctuate day to day.
It would be nice to believe that we live in a perfect world and can always perfectly produce in exactly the same way day to day, but unless you’re the next Robot Overlord, shit’s going to get difficult sometimes.
A system can only be as good at its interconnecting parts, and failing to recognize that your life and health are an integral part of any system you build is where we believe that traditional business and systems advice fails entrepreneurs.
That’s why we’ll shout from the rooftops that anyone who’s got a business–small, large, or anything in between–needs to make sure that their systems can adapt to fluctuating situations, energy levels, health, and any other stumbling block you’ve noticed life continues to throw in your way.
